What personal data we collect
We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:
- Identification and contact data – name, job title, employer/affiliation, email address, telephone number, postal address.
- Account data – login credentials, authentication tokens, user preferences, subscription tier, access logs.
- Usage/technical data – IP address, device identifiers, browser type/version, time zone, operating system, referral URLs, page interactions, error logs, and similar telemetry.
- Communications data – messages and correspondence you send to us (e.g., support requests, feedback, survey responses).
- B2B public-profile data – information about professional roles and affiliations obtained from public sources (e.g., Companies House, corporate websites, published regulatory filings such as SEC Form ADV, press releases, professional networking sites, and industry publications).
- Payment and billing data – invoicing details, transaction references (processed via our payment provider; we do not store full card details).
- Derived/analytics data – inferences we generate about how our products are used (e.g., feature adoption, search behaviour, content engagement).
We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g., health, racial/ethnic origin) and we do not target children; our services are for professionals aged 18+.

- Directly from you – when you create an account, use the platform, contact us, attend our events, or sign up to our communications.
- Automatically – via cookies, SDKs and similar technologies when you visit or use our services. See our Cookie Policy.
- Public and third‑party sources – including official registers and public disclosures (e.g., UK Companies House, SEC Form ADV and similar filings, company websites, press releases), reputable data partners, analytics providers, and publicly available professional profiles. We collect this information because it is relevant to our business offering and we regularly assess which fields are necessary for that purpose.

Who we share your personal data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers (processors): e.g., cloud hosting, security monitoring, analytics, email/CRM, payment processing, customer support tools. These providers are bound by contract to process data only on our instructions and to protect it.
- Professional advisers: lawyers, auditors and insurers where necessary for advice and compliance.
- Business partners and data partners: where this is necessary to provide our services or content to you, subject to appropriate agreements.
- Authorities: where required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
- Corporate transactions: in connection with any proposed merger, acquisition or restructuring; your data may be transferred to prospective or actual counterparties and their advisers under appropriate safeguards.

International transfers
Your data may be processed outside the UK/EEA. Where we transfer data internationally we use appropriate safeguards such as:
- UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to EU SCCs;
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission;
- Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) (where applicable); or
- An adequacy decision for the destination country.

Data security
We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate), security logging, staff training, and regular testing. While no system is perfectly secure, we work to prevent unauthorised access, use, alteration or loss.

How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise the data. If deletion is not immediately feasible (for example in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

Where you have consented to marketing, you can withdraw it at any time. For B2B marketing sent on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object.

- Withdraw consent where processing is based on your consent.
